Executive Board for 2009

Elections were held for board positions for next year's season. The board for 2009 is as follows:

President - J.R. Javins

Vice-President - Jimmy Spuduck

Treasurer Mia Aldridge

D-Team Representative - Alane Javins

Secretary Laura Given

Human Relations Tammy Lanham

Johlon Toliver

Johlon needs your help. He suffered a stroke on October 3. The Nitro League is taking up donations to help him and his family. You can also make donations at City National Bank.

Several of the CVMFL Leagues have donated. We thank them very much!

Homecoming pictures 2008 are now HERE!

I took as many pictures of as many posters as I could at the homecoming games. I hope I got everyone's poster. I also got a few pictures of the crowd and some of the games from the press box.

Retiring

After announcing and keeping up the web site for the Nitro league for the last seven years I will be retiring official immediately. It has been a pleasure serving the league that I love so much and it will always have a special place in my heart.

With my kids getting older and moving on I will no longer be able to afford the time it takes to do the job right. Plus I also play music on the weekends and that takes a tremendous amount of time. I have announced so long now it will be nice for the league to have something fresh.

Best of luck Nitro and I will see you all around. My availability for playoffs is still unknown.

Here are some new pictures from the home games with the Western Generals. I did not put the pictures on the team pages. I broke the pictures into two groups. One group for cheerleaders and another for the football players.
